Teresa graduated from Guys Dental Hospital in 1980.

Teresa's main interests in dentistry are Implants, Orthodontics and Cosmetic Reconstruction.She is married with no children but has both cats and chickens. Her hobbies are dentistry, walking and skiing. Teresa works at both clinics.

November 2007

• Dr Teresa Day, Paula Robinson and Sarah Hallam attended the IPL Course held in London, to learn about IPL treatments for hair removal and facial rejuvenation .
• Dr Teresa Day and Sarah Hallam attended the IPL Safety Course held in London to learn about safety issues regarding laser treatments.

October 2007

• Dr Teresa Day attended the BAAD aesthetic dentistry conference in London. Dr Day has been a member of BAAD for many years and the annual conference covers all aspect of aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry from orthodontics, tooth coloured restorations and implants. It was an excellent conference and many new ideas were discussed.
• Dr Teresa Day attended the ITI meetings held in London to discuss protocols and mentoring in implant dentistry.
• Dr Teresa Day attended Mentor training held at Salford University. As she has over 20 years experience in dental implants Dr Day was asked to be a mentor for students studying for an MSc in dental implants. This training will also help us with developing and training our own team members.
• Dr Teresa Day attended at ALF appliances (orthodontics) held in Birmingham. ALF appliances are used to help correct facial alignment as well as straightening teeth. Dr Day is a leading exponent of this type of treatment in the UK.
• CPR and cross infection control - the team have all had another refresher course in this very important subject.

September 2007

• Paula Robinson and Sara Hallam attended the Eden Aesthetics Conference held in Ibiza to find out more about laser and pulsed light and most specifically the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) which we have now purchased for Beauty Therapy @ Appledore Clinic. They both attended many seminars including those taken by Dr Mervyn Patterson and Dr Eliot Battle. These coverered areas such as physics, which skin types are suitable and which are not. Demonstrations took place including hair removal and treatment of vascular areas and pre and post treatment care.

• Dr Teresa Day attended the Facial cosmetics master class in fine lines and wrinkles held in London, this now means that you really can have that facelift in your lunch hour. By carefully using muscle relaxants and fillers Dr Day can rejuvenate your face and help you to look 10 years younger.

• Paula Robinson attended the BDPMA (British Dental Practice Managers Association) 2 day Conference in Warwick which she found very interesting.
• Dr Teresa Day, Yvonne Poole, Amy Cross and Paula Robinson attended the 3 day FACE conference (Facial Aesthetic Conference & Exhibition) in London. This gave us more insight into the non dental treatments available that we can use to help you to look even more beautiful.
• Dr Neale Katz attended the World Aesthetic Conference where he learnt new techniques for whitening which he has taught the rest of the team.
• Dr Jonathon Sprague attended the Cerec Advanced Course in Germany, he has taught the Appledore dentists all the new techniques - Appledore Clinic has the latest Cerec software which makes one day crowns even simpler.

May 2007

• Dr Teresa Day, Katherine Harvey and Rebecca Forbes attended the 3 day ADI Conference (Association of Dental Implantologists) in Birmingham to learn all the latest techniques in implant technology.
• Yvonne Poole, Paula Robinson, Amy Cross, Lisa Webster and Brenda Rayner attended the SOE NUG Conference in Birmingham. SOE Exact is the software we use for our reception and administration information, this was very useful and should speed up our responses to any enquiries you may have.
